Thanks For Coming out Last Night! Onward To Year 7!

Last night was our 6th Anniversary Halloween Party at Taste and man was it awesome! It was a fantastic night of music, videogames, nudity, swag, yelling, and all sorts of debauchery! A lot of us are still recovering but we thank you all for coming out!

This is the biggest event we have done outside of an anime convention and something completely different from what we normally do throughout the year. A lot was learned from last night and very fun too!

We look forward to having a few awesome parties like last night each year to compliment our showings with Anime Nite @ The Geek Easy and our panels and events at conventions.

We have several events that you all should check out to wrap up the year. Try to see as many as you can!

As always, our main goal is to show you guys really cool anime and we'll be getting back to that right away! If you are looking for an awesome way to start of your Halloween night, we'll be at A Comic Shop at 7pm to show the first two parts of the Hellsing Ultimate OVA on bluray! (RSVP on Facebook.)

Then right after on Sunday, November 4th is the annual Orlando Japan Festival that will be at The Village at Hunter's Creek on John Young Parkway. It's a free event with a ton entertainment from taiko drums to martial arts. There will also be vendors selling food and lots of Japanese goods! We'll be doing a carpool to there in the morning from A Comic Shop and we'll post more details tomorrow!

On Friday, Nomeber 9th is Anime Nite @ The Geek Easy: Ladies Kick Ass! The title is self-explanatory. We'll showcase two or three different anime starring hot-blooded women that don't take any crap from anyone! During the week, we'll figure out what's good to show and make an official post, but we'd like to know who your favorite ass-kicking anime heroines are.

Last night, we announced that we will be hosting a holiday party that will benefit a charity. We want it to be a big deal, and with what we learned last night combined with the support we're already getting, we should have a party that surpasses the one we just had. Plus, it will be for a good cause!

Our FIRST EVER Holiday Party will be on Saturday, December 8th at Bikkuri Lounge on East Colonial Drive in downtown Orlando. The full announcement will be release once we have our talent lineup confirmed!

If you would like to help out or contribute something to make this party successful, please e-mail us your proposals at propelleranime_at_gmail_dot_com.

That's a lot from us to look forward to, but we have many people to give shout-outs to and we will make sure you follow them so you can see more of their stuff. Dammit!

First off, we want to thank our DJs Neofaust and Chaotic Logic for playing fun music all night! Neofaust will be one of the performing DJs at Shadocon in November so check him out there!

We'd like to thank Diana, Sarah, and Ashley of Anime Spot and Knightrokon for judging our costume contest! Congrats go out to Chris Esposito for winning the most legitimate and prestigious award in all of cosplay* as No-Face from Spirited Away!

Then there was Skill Focus: Burlesque. Man, was that something! When booking them, they gave me a vague idea of what they had planned for numbers but I did not expect performances by Tuxedo Mask or Utena! Great stuff!

All of them did fantastic and we give our thanks to Ruby Darling, Cherry Bob-omb, Shy La Buff, Nekkid RoboJoe, and Syber Digit for putting on a very sexy show! They are always doing really cool shows covering the full spectrum of geekdom and we hope to work with them again. (Follow them on Facebook!)

He's part of our crew and he worked sound all night; I appreciate Chozo for being a big part in lighting a fire under my ass so I could go through with organizing this party and getting everyone involved. You can check out his website Channel Zero and if you need good sound at your event, he can help with that too!

Our gratitude goes out to Anime Festival Orlando, Knightrokon, A Comic Shop, Viz Media, and Neon Alley for providing prize support for our event. We hope those who won in the raffle like what you got!

Last but not least, thank you to Taste for letting us use your venue! We hope many people who came out last night give you future visits!

If you've never been to a Propeller Anime event before, we hope you had fun and keep coming out to see us! If you supported us over the year, we are humbled that you came out in full force to support our riskiest and most ambitious event to date.

And for those who did not come, you missed out. Big time. But fear not! You can redeem yourselves on December 8th! We'll need all the support we can get for that night!

We'll have pictures up as soon as our photographer has them ready. Stay tuned!
