Anime Nite Orlando: Fighting Spirit! (9/12)

Our next Anime Nite Orlando will be Thursday, September 12 at Bikkuri Lounge, located at 1919 E. Colonial Dr. Orlando, FL! The theme this time is Fighting Spirit with a one-two punch of Hajime no Ippo and the first ever crowd-funded anime, Kick-Heart!

RSVP on Facebook!

Hajime no Ippo, or Fighting Spirit as it was brought over to America years ago, is perhaps the most popular sports anime in this country.

It's a coming of age story that features detailed, fiery fights inside the boxing ring. With the third series on it's way, we go back to begining of Makunouchi Ippo's epic journey to champion!

Last year, Production I.G and Masami Yuasa proposed Kick-Heart, the first ever anime to successfully be crowdfunded. (Read why you should have done that here!)  Pro wrestling meets romance in an animated short feature that doesn't look like your typical anime. (We're even a sponsor!)

But that's not all! We'll have a vote on our Facebook event page for the opener! The choices are Ashita no Joe, Baki the Grappler, Shootfighter Tekken(aka Tough), and Ultimate Muscle(aka Kinnukuman II)!

Doors will open at 8pm! The event is FREE and you must be 18+ with I.D. to get in. Drink specials are 2 for 1 beers, $3 wells, and there is a Japanese restaurant across the hall! See you September 12th!

  1. Ultimate MMA is best boxing school, from my point of view. So here you go to get Muay Thai in Connecticut, and others self defense programs.
