Summer's coming to an end but Anime Nite Orlando is hotter than ever! Propeller Anime will be back at Bikkuri Lounge (1919 E. Colonial Dr.) on Thursday, September 18th for a very special Anime Nite Orlando!
Our main feature will be the new theatrical adaption of Leiji Matsumoto's Space Pirate Captain Harlock!
In an era when humanity has reached the end of the galaxy, no longer does a frontier remain for them, and they begin to wage war for the right to return and reclaim Earth. Four Death Shadow class battleships were built for the war, and the captain of the fourth vessel was Captain Harlock.
However, the hero Harlock disappeared right after the war, became a cursed space pirate, and rebelled against the government. Why did Harlock disappear and come back as a pirate? Now, an assassination plan against Harlock has been greenlit...
Space Pirate Captain Harlock is directed by Shinji Aramaki(Appleseed, Halo Legends) and was nominated this year for the Japan Academy Prize for Animation of the Year. You can watch the original Space Pirate Captain Harlock anime series on Crunchyroll and Hulu.

For those not familiar with Anime Nite Orlando, in addition to anime being played, Bikkuri Lounge has a full bar and a restaurant with great Japanese dinner choices on the menu. Drink specials for the night are 2-for-1 beers and $3 well drinks.
Anime Nite Orlando is free to attend and doors open at 8pm. You must be at least 18 years of age with a valid I.D. to enter.
