Propeller Anime's Summer Charity Party To Benefit One Hope United! (7/9)


For the second year in a row, Propeller Anime will be hosting an awesome party at The Geek Easy that is also a school supply drive, benefiting the children and foster families represented by the One Hope United charity organization.


There will be live music, video games, prize raffles, cosplay, contests, and more! Special Performances by Doug Funnie, Jackson ParodiEyeQ, and a mystery guest! (See details of each act below.)


There will also be a 2-hour 80s dance party to close out the night with all the iconic hits and party anthems from DJ RocketLauncher. Plus, there will also be a crowning of this year's Anime Prom King and Queen as voted by you guys!

Admission will be a donation of school supplies or $5 that will go toward the One Hope United charity!

We are looking for notebooks, composition books, bookbags, pencils, pens, erasers, glue, binders, and the like. Anything you can bring in will be of great help to these kids less fortunate than us.

Doug Funnie

Doug Funnie is an Underground Hip-Hop Artist who is mainly associated with the genre known as “Nerdcore Hip-Hop," with sweet raps about Fist of the North StarMetal Gear Solid, and even "Macho Man" Randy Savage.

Jackson Alexander Parodi

Jackson Alexander Parodi was born and raised in Miami, FL and began playing the tuba at the age of 12. While studying music at the University of Miami, a friend gifted him an accordion. A gamer from an early age, the new instrument helped Jackson thrust himself into the world of video game music.

In addition to maintaining an active YouTube channel with nearly 14,000 subscribers and over 3 million views, he has performed at events including Video Games Live, Awesome Games Done Quick, Orlando Nerd Fest, the MAGFest Jamspace, and Zeldathon. In the summer of 2015, Jackson became the accordionist of Orlando-based video game rock band Random Encounter.


EyeQ

EyeQ is an indie hip-hop artist, visionary, and emcee whose musical sights are set on merging his wide assortment of musical influences into one powerhouse. Raised in Brooklyn, NY, Now Florida based emcee.

EyeQ is just as busy on the stage as he is in the studio while he is working on 2 albums. Last year, EyeQ released Attack on Titan Vol. 1: Wall of Maria.

Masikus

Angel Hernandez aka Masikus is a producer/drummer out of the Miami area. He toured nationally drumming with former band Another Black Day and was featured on Mega Beardo’s “Ledjent of Zelda” EP.

Working as Masikus, he has released multiple video game remixes, originals, 2 EPs (Versus & Sector Z³) and a full length remix album “[after hours]”, all of which combine his love of different genres including hip-hop, chiptune, downtempo and video game music just to name a few. He currently has several projects in the works including more video game remixes, originals and drum sessions for other artists."
