In less than two weeks is Knightrokon at the UCF Student Union in Orlando, FL! The event takes place June 1st & 2nd and Propeller Anime will certainly be involved with panels, a contest, showings, and a sweet party! (RSVP on Facebook!)
We're excited to announce that we will be hosting FIVE panels at Knightrokon, all on Saturday, June 1st! Check out our lineup below.
Anime Death-Match
1:30PM - 2:30PM in room 220
Come one, come all, and see the toughest anime gentlemen and ladies face off to see who is going to be Knightrokon Champion! This bracket style tourney will pit some of your favorite characters against each other in a fight that will be one of a kind. Are you a strong enough supporter to push your champ over the top? Come and find out who will take the top spot.
Intro Into Mecha Anime For Modern Fans
4:00PM - 5:30PM in room 221
Do you like high school anime comedies? Of course not! This panel will introduce you to the action-packed world of giant robots and hot-blooded pilots. There will be explosions! There will be melodrama! This isn't about your dad's copy of Robotech!
The Brutal Kings of MMA Manga!
5:30PM - 6:30PM in room 221
Mixed Martial Arts is popular around the world and in Japan, manga has existed for such combat even before there was UFC! We take a look at how the genre came to be and compare the two kings of MMA manga, Baki the Grappler and Tough!

From Gunbuster to Evangelion. From FLCL to Panty & Stocking. This panel will be covering the awesome history of one of Japan's most controversial animation studios.

It's an electrifying event that is FOR MEN BY MEN! Discover what makes an anime or manga manly and which stories are part of the GOD-TIER OF MANIME! (Caution: Men may grow beards, and women may get pregnant.)
